Father, I feel it in my bones. The ache for my child is real.

Not because I don't trust You. Because I love them too much to stay still.

I see the weight they carry. I hear the silence where laughter used to be. I wish I could take it from them.

Steady my hands. Loosen my grip on needing to fix it. Remind me You are near them even when I'm not.

You see what they won't say. You know the fear behind their eyes. Help me trust You with them, even when I want to pull them close and never let go.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
