Father, You gave me this child. You knew me, and You still trusted me with them.
Guard them today. Where I cannot be, You are. Where I do not see, You see.
Surround them with friends who lift them. Keep them from friends who don't. Give them work that matters and rest that restores.
When the world is loud, let them hear Your voice. When the world is cruel, let them feel Your hand. When I fail them — and I will — let them see that I loved them as best I knew how, and that You love them perfectly.
