Father, I bring You the small one. The one whose feet don't reach the floor of the chair yet. The one whose biggest worry is who gets the blue cup.
Protect what they don't know to ask You to protect.
Be in the playground when I am not. Be in the words their teacher uses. Be in the friends they choose. Be in the moments their imagination takes them somewhere I cannot follow.
Keep the wonder lit. The world is going to come for it later. While I still can, help me build a home where wonder is allowed to be the loudest thing in the room.
I do not get to script their faith. I only get to live one in front of them. Make mine real enough that when they are old enough to wonder, they will wonder toward You.
