God of mercy, I am tired but moving. The road stretches ahead. This drive feels longer than it should. I am grateful You are with me in the cab.

Steady my hands on the wheel. Loosen the grip of my hurry. Remind me that arrival is not the only holy thing.

I could reach for the phone to fill the quiet. Instead I let the engine hum and the trees pass. Help me notice the light on the fields, the breath in my lungs.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
