Father of mercies
I feel like cracked earth today. No rain in my bones. Just silence where prayer used to live.
I am not pretending. I am not forcing it. I am just here, open and empty.
Steady my breath. Loosen my grip on needing to feel something. Remind me that You formed dry land and called it good.
You see the cracks. You know what thirst feels like. Help me trust that even now, You are shaping something good.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
