When I Cannot Find the Point
For the season when the work feels like noise
Father, I am not sure what I am doing anymore.
The work pays the bills. The days fill up. The years go by. But the thread that I thought was running through it — the why — has gotten thin.
I am not asking for a grand calling. I am asking for the next clear step.
Show me what to put down. Show me what to pick up. Show me which voice in the room is Yours and which one is just loud.
I do not want a bigger life. I want a truer one.
If I am drifting, anchor me. If I am building wrong, redirect me. If I am building right but cannot see it, give me eyes for what You are doing while I cannot tell.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
