Lord, I have things to tell You.
Not because You don't already know. Because I do.
I did what I should not have done. I did not do what I should have. I said the sharp thing. I held the resentment. I cared more about being right than being kind.
I am sorry. Not in a shallow way. In the way that means I want it to change.
Thank You for not flinching. Thank You for the cross. Wash this clean, and walk me back into the day a different man than the one who started this prayer.
