What is The Waymark?

The Waymark is a free midweek letter. It lands in your inbox at 7 AM Eastern every Wednesday, and it is waiting inside the Pray Your Way app whenever you open it. A waymark is a marker set on the road — this one meets you halfway between one Sunday and the next.

The Road So Far

On Sunday, the sermon ends with The Charge™ — the thing committed to your keeping for the week. You carry it into your evening prayer, night by night. By Wednesday, two nights of the Nightly Watch are behind you, tonight is the third, and the Saturday Reckoning is still ahead.

The Waymark meets you right there. It quotes this week’s charge back to you, and it offers one honest check-in: did you keep the watch, miss some nights, or are you starting tonight? There is no wrong answer, and there is no shame in any of them. Pick the charge back up right where you are standing.

The check-in keeps a count of the whole — how the list is carrying the charge together — and nothing else. No streak. No badge. No record with your name on it. You are simply reminded that you are not keeping this watch alone.

This week’s stone

Every Waymark also carries one stone — a single claim from the record: a find, a manuscript, a preserved detail, and the scripture it touches.
